History[]
Madchen Amick, born in Sparks, Nevada was raised by parents who encouraged her to be involved in the arts. She grew up playing a variety of instruments including the piano, bass, guitar and violin and had lessons in tap, ballet, jazz and modern dance.
At the age of sixteen, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her love of acting. Her first appearances were in Star Trek: The Next Generation and The Borrower. Madchen's biggest break in the acting industry was her role in the famous television series Twin Peaks, as the waitress Shelly Johnson; she also appeared in the feature film made after the series wrapped, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Since then Madchen has appeared in numerous films, even starring in the television series Gilmore Girls, E.R., and a handful of other shows.
