Hyung Min-woo, graphic novelist and creative consultant

Hyung Min-woo is a South Korean "manwa" artist, best known for creating the graphic novel Priest released in America by Tokyo Pop.

In addition to writing and drawing Priest, Min-Woo has also been a part of a collective of top Korean artists working on projects for Image and other US comics labels. Priest is his biggest hit to date and was inspired by the first-person shooter Blood. Min-Woo is a huge fan of Western films (especially films by Sergio Leone and Walter Hill), horror films (Hellraiser and The Prophecy are two of his faves), and violent video games.

He served as a creative consultant on the film Priest to the director Scott Stewart.
